杜亚平博士毕业于北京大学。先后前往中国科学院苏州纳米技术与纳米仿生研究所，西北大学及新加坡进行工作，访问与博士后深造。迄今已发表SCI论文20余篇，包括Nature Communications, Journal of American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition等国际著名化学、材料类期刊。亚平博士一直从事稀土功能材料的研究，在新型稀土纳米材料的可控合成、结构设计及其在光、电、磁、催化等领域的应用研究取得重要成果。现全职受聘于西安交通大学前沿科学技术研究院，任博士生导师。

主要研究内容：

多功能稀土纳米材料在催化、固态照明、清洁能源和传感中的应用。
